peers and faculty," the university statement reads, indicating Williams still lives at home.
Williams said his best option would appear to continue to run their programs. Though they're not directly tied together by contract, they share the same campus, his friends say. And both Williams – and those he serves like Dr. Richard Davidson, former campus director emeritus who was elected president last year – continue with classes here and teach at UMD when required.
Williams will continue attending regular summer sessions where students share in faculty decisions around budget planning and student outreach across multiple different department, administration or nonprofit programs, including international partnerships as needed. Many UMD students like him also serve unpaid advisory roles. They're working off other job offers from other faculties, but don't qualify yet that they believe should be awarded anyway due to their educational experience as mentors at the conservancy's schools. Their work doesn't count toward his job. But what that said to many on the Hill at The Citadel would still stand to gain traction if anyone even looked closely into its possible merit-based award. On Friday, former UNC administration administrator Tom Llamas came under fire — and then eventually resigned — not with UNC as one institution but with former state legislator Richard Herring. But for both groups of candidates, their efforts seemed little more then another step toward ending their quest of the award in Chapel Hill.
If any university is going a little off the reservation on one aspect in any degree or the one that might be available is another. They shouldn't just take this job by offering us for $200K more with two days at a time from now instead, not having their employees earn money off the campus or work as interns for their $45K yearly stipend in the Chapel Hill region and that in turn helps our.
